We now have a beautiful, bright bathroom. Goodbye Little Outhouse on the Prairie, hello country comfort!
The bathroom was finally completed today. I’ll post details on the products and vendors used in the coming days, but in the meantime, I can tell you that several artisans and crafters from Etsy were tapped. Check out the apothecary jars (labeled as COTTON, FIRST AID, HANDS, Q-TIPS) by rachelhough (November Sound), and the one-of-a-kind towel tote (with a little nod to Jim’s roots) and hair dryer bag by jennilyons81.
Need a little bit of time to enjoy it myself – I’m sure you’ll understand why after seeing the gallery!
And don’t forget to check out the “Befores” here.
- Pre-accessories. Check out that sink!
- Beautiful beadboard and tile. Wall paint is Benjamin Moore Antique White; beadboard and trim is Benjamin Moore white enamel.
- First accessory? The guest towel that started it all; from Pottery Barn.
- Inset storage cabinet.
- A clever storage bag for my hair dryer; from jennilyons81 @ Etsy.
- Vintage numbered towel hooks from Pottery Barn. We’re not bar people. Unless of course you’re pouring drinks!
- Red ticking stripe shower curtain and primitive star hooks.
- Some additional accessories; “Willow” prim tissue box cover from Country Porch.
- One of two “vintage tub” framed prints.
- Towel tote by jennilyons81 @ Etsy.
- French wicker basket for toilet tissue from Farmhousewares.com.
- Couldn’t resist this print from art.com. Makes me really think of country life…
- Fantastic Hair Dryer bag from jennilyons81 @ Etsy.com. I thought it, she made it. Hint hint, Jim: I need a sewing machine before I hand her all of my money!

Nice!
